Hi,
Will new versions of IFD/L/W restore old images (i.e. the latest version of Image will always restore an image made with an earlier version (apart from the change between versions 1 and 2!). If not is there anywhere that sets out when problems will arise?
Thanks

Re: Will new versions restore old images?
The latest V2 version will restore the older V2 .TBI files.
It won't restore the old V1 .IMG files.

Wasn't there a point in the v2 cycle where you advised that from a
certain point, only later version should be used to restore an image?
It was something to do with an incompatible (with earlier versions)
switch that you introduced.

I think I remember something like that as well.

Re: Will new versions restore old images?
The latest version could always be used to restore files created with the
older (same major) version. But there are times where a .TBI file created
with a newer version can't be restored with an older version.
