I'm interested in trying this but can't find how to enter the options mentioned. If someone would be kind enough to explain the details of how to enter the details I would be most thankful.

Good question, it illustrates some of the problems of Terabyte software and this forum.

Short answer: include the commands in the file

C:\Program Files (x86)\TeraByte Drive Image Backup and Restore Suite\ifw.ini

and save the file as the new ifw.ini.

Iceni,

Add the suggested lines to the Options section of your ifw.ini.

[Options]
....
....
....
TimeZone=AUS-10
ShowTBWinPE=1
PerfOpt=0
IOBS=262144
IOCacheFlags=0

Is IFW ever going to be able to create differential/incremental images, or do delta restores, without the need for hash files. There are several applications that can do these things without them. I don't like hash files because they clutter things up.

embedding them is not planned anytime soon. You can delete them if not needed or automatically delete once used. You can always recreate the normal hash file anytime.

As far as I know, you can create differential/incremental images without creating hash files. Don't use the Faster Changes Only Backups option if the hash files bother you that much.
