after making and booting into linux/ image, all works just fine.
except i have not found a way of getting into the top programs bar on the screen (except by using a mouse). sooo. how can i use only the keyboard and get into the program bar. i wanted to mount another device and use mc. and only use the keyboard for everything.
i understand that i could have made a cui version. but what i have is the gui version of linux/image. and i dont want extra cds to misplace.
i tried tab/ alt/ esc and the function keys. i also tried to find how to do it from program help, knowledge base, and forum. but found nothing.
since the image/windows gui is very sparse, it would have been nice if there was a window opened with a faq already active. so things like this are available.

The Windows key will bring up the desktop menu (or use Ctrl+Space if no Windows key).
From there you can use the arrow keys to highlight an item, then press Enter to select. Or you can also use the hotkeys (indicated by the underscored characters), which would be 'a' for the Mount Drive or Partition dialog, and 'h' for Midnight Commander - which is also on the Mount Drive or Partition menu.
