giulia,

If you make an IFL ISO using Tom's method it should work on a YUMI UFD.

yes should i use linux to create the iso?
is not enough to save the 2 ini files in the root of the usb stick?

If you're booting IFL from an ISO file located somewhere on a UFD, then IFL won't find any ini files at boot time.

In that case, you need to create a custom ISO file from Linux (rather than from Makedisk in Windows) that will contain the ini files in the root file system to begin with. You can do this from the IFL boot disk itself (IFL 2.89 or later recommended) without needing to have an installed Linux distro. My post earlier in this thread and the KB article it links to describe how to do this. Once you get to that point, you'll need to select the "Run makeISO to create custom ISO file" from the menu, and then follow the prompts.
