Hi - This weekend I will convert my PC from WINXP to WIN-7 64b. I bought a 3 TB drive that is going to serve as my new backups drive, and my old 700GB backups drive was going to be the boot drive for WIN-7. So I have a chicken/egg problem. I'd like to format and bring up the drive, at least 1TB of it, under WIN-XP, and move all my backups over to it, and then after I'm converted to WIN-7, I'd like to somehow extend it (without losing the data) to thefull 3TB. Is there an easy way to do this or am I SOL?
Thanks!!

Check out the thread 3TB drives in the BIBM sections for some ideas.
