What does "Synchronizing in Progress" mean?

Post by tbessie »

Hi all...

I noticed on my latest computer, when it starts up, BootItBM says "Synchronizing in Progress" for a fraction of a second, before the boot menu comes up.

One thing about this computer is, it has 4 drives in it.

Does this just mean it's scanning for drives? This message was new to me.

sounds like a windows or drive problem..

the "sync" message had been there since BING 1.00 - typically fast enough
you don't see it. If (one of) the drive(s) is taking a while to respond
then you will see the message.

im sure its not a drive problem it was fine before the update and the other six partitions work fine i just didn't want to lose the data, with the recovery disc it doesn't even show a restore point.

disk imaging (Image for DOS). You can also use Image for Linux if you have
a license for it.
