Hi,
I am using IFW 2.83 to back up two partitions on my Windows 8 64 bit desktop to my Synology RS812 NAS.
I am using the rotate script from the terabyte website and I am doing a weekly full backup and daily incrementals.
I have not been doing this long but I am frequently getting the "Image stream corrupt, please reboot".
If I retry the backup it works.
Log file is below for a working example (yesterday), then the failure (today).

I gather that the differential backup was written and then a validation is performed in it and the validation failed.
What does the validation process do exactly?
