Just completed: an over-install of Windows 7 SP1. No other changes in hardware or software.
When the "phylock failed to cache changes" message appears (1st time ever seen) I did the following...
Increased DATA cache to 50000
Rebooted
Reinstalled IFW/IFD
Message persists. What's the fix, please?

Re: Phylock failed to cache changes
I made RAM cache size 12000 and don't have problems. Try it.

Re: Phylock failed to cache changes
Thanks Mary,
The fix was to first UNinstall, then reinstall. That worked fine as always, with a disk cache of 600. Regards.
