Made 10 IFW v2.76 images since yesterday, installing software and updates to Win7.
PHYLock worked perfectly.
Suddenly PHYLock unable to start; notification to reduce the cache size.
What might cause PHYLock to suddenly be unable to start?
Default RAM Cache Size is (KB) 8192.
What reduced RAM size is appropriate?
Used VSS for the first time to make the image.
Are VSS images as perfect and reliable as PHYLock images?

PHYLock RAM cache size
Re: PHYLock RAM cache size
further development
rebooted several times, each time trying to make an image
PHYLock would not start
Decided to installed a previous version that produced successful images
installed v2.70, unchecked all boxes
did not reboot
PHYLock started in about 18 seconds
image completed successfully
will not update v2.70

Re: PHYLock RAM cache size
sounds like you needed to uninstall/reinstall phylock as one of the windows
updates disabled or reordered it.

Re: PHYLock RAM cache size
thank you
uninstalling and reinstalling solved the PHYLock issue.
rather than update overwriting installed version, will uninstall and reinstall
