Booting Linux?

Post by netfly »

Installed UbuntuStudio on a primary partition recognized by BIM as Linux Native. When I try to boot the only result is an error message "Partition is not bootable".

Can anybody help? Thanks in advance.

Please supply more info on what you did. I have 4 versions of Linux
installed here on primary partitions.

Do you have primaries unlimited?

many, many thanks - followed this method and succeeded.

Just wanted to get to know Linux. Now I question myself:
what actually do I need Linux for? In fact I'm quite satisfied
with Windows7. Strange, isn't it? Just don't bother.

Cheers

I played a bit with a bootable Ubuntu disk. It can be fun,
especially when not necessary.
