The icons for which programs exactly? I do not have that issue in W7
x64 and the options are 'remembered' when upgrading. IIRC, the only
icon which does not have an option is that for IfW itself.

For the TBIView/OSDTOOL the options are controlled by those installers so
unless you choose to have that installer startup, it uses the defaults.
