Add drivers to TBWinRE

Post by Yottabytes »

My mouse does not work when I boot with TBWinRE. How do I add drivers to the .ISOs boot.wim?

What type of mouse is it? What connection (USB, USB/Wireless, etc.)?

If there is a standard .inf type driver available for the mouse you could add it and see if it helps. Note that some devices don't have drivers that will install and work properly in the WinPE/RE environments.

Drivers can be added to a build by placing the files into the build's "Drivers" folder and enabling the option to include them. See Appendix 2 of the tutorial for an example: https://www.terabyteunlimited.com/howto ... #appendix2

In Settings, on the "Build Options" tab, enable the "Add drivers from the 'Drivers' folder" option.

Both a regular Logitech wireless wheel mouse and a laptop trackpad won't move the cursor when I boot WinRE. I'll try populating the drivers folder with the right drivers.
