File bcd associated with group * has changed

Post by badams_ios »

2 things actually, the most pressing being that every time I start Windows - the only os installed at this time - i get a message saying File bcd associated with group win7_1 in patrician windows on hod has changed. If I choose new group, of course I have a new windows item added to the boot menu. Choose update or ignore, and I see no change.

The second thing is that when bootit comes up, it comes up to the "work with partitions" menu, I have to close that and click resume to load windows.

Help?

Hello,

You have multi-os enabled, if you don't need it, you can disable that - but
something is changing the file being monitored - you can remove that file if
wanted or change the settings to have it automatically update via edit
groups.

You have it in partition work mode, you can go to the BIBM partition, edit
file, bootitbm.ini, remove the startat= line
