I have used IFW, booted from the ["winre"] TBWinRE partition, to perform OFFLINE Backups via a small batch file. These have, apparently, completed fine [see below] but I am a wee bit concerned because of a "Error: VSS Snapshot Creation Failed (80042308h)" message that appears near the top of the [same] Backup Log. Should I be concerned or is this because I have my TBWinRE IFW misconfigured? [Surely, VSS is only required for ONLINE Backups?]
I'd rather not find out the hard way [via a "restore" failure - if it ever proves necessary]!
