I use BIBM to boot Windows 10, Linux Mint and IFL. I cloned the IFL somehow from another PC (can't remember exactly how although it needed some fiddling) and it works fine. But when I boot IFL I find the order of the hard discs is switched.
Then if I'm in IFL and reboot, the PC restarts IFL rather than BING. So I then have to reboot into the BIOS where I find the boot order has changed - now the first item is some UEFI option instead of my SSD. I can change it back and then BING starts as normal.
So I can fix it each time I come out of IFL but I'd like to get it working properly. I don't know what is responsible for changing the BIOS boot order. Is it some bad setting in BIBM or is the IFL partition doing it when it boots?
Running IFL changes BIOS disc order
Re: Running IFL changes BIOS disc order
I've experimented and found a solution. I selected the Swap option in boot edit and this corrects the HD order.
