64GB limitation...

Post by H6G »

I've been using Image for Linux as a preferred back up choice for Windows 10 and 11. The back up has always been used on 64GB USB media. How does BootIt Bare Metal/BootIt UEFI let you use a USB media larger than 64GB in Image for Linux? (I have a license for both).

Quote:

"By default, for data safety reasons, MakeDisk does not support UFD devices that
are larger than 64 GB in size. For that reason, devices larger than 64 GB will not
appear in MakeDisk. You can allow MakeDisk to support larger devices by clicking
the USB+ button or by specifying the /nousblimit parameter when it's run (e.g.
makedisk /nousblimit)"

Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.
