Bootnow using /noreboot switch??

How does this switch actually work?
I tried the following commands...

bootnow.exe /None/run=tbexplo.tbs/noreboot
bootnow.exe 1/run=tbexplo.tbs/noreboot
bootnow.exe Windows 10 Pro/run=tbexplo.tbs/noreboot
bootnow.exe Windows 10 Pro/noreboot
bootnow.exe 1/noreboot

and bootnow just silently exits (no error message).
If I remove the '/noreboot' switch the commands work as expected.
I have tried this with bootnow v1.30a, v1.21b, and v1.21 with the same results.
Bootnow just silently exits...

The /noreboot switch prevents the system from restarting after configuring it for the specified command. The command would take place when the system is next restarted.

Thank you, so obvious in hindsight. For some reason I was expecting some form of feedback but that wouldn't make sense for this.
Of course by running another command after it I was overwriting the previous command so I was never seeing the expected result.
I am curious as to where bootnow saves this command. Is this command saved to the bootit partition? Thanks for the clarification.

For BIBM, I think it's saved in the EMBR.
