Cannot create IFL nonet version

Post by rustleg »

Trying to create USB sticks to boot IFL 3.38 in Linux Mint 19.3. I downloaded both net and nonet versions: ifl_en_gui_x64.zip, ifl_nonet_en_gui_x64.zip

First I tried the nonet version. Even though I installed the required dependencies as in https://www.terabyteunlimited.com/kb/article.php?id=566 I get the following error:
./setup: line 198: ./util/tbosdt: No such file or directory
Required package libncursesw5 (32-bit) not installed

So I tried the network version. Setup ran ok without any change in the dependencies I had installed when trying the nonet version. Even though the quickstart.txt file said "The nonet version is created from the network version when you extract and set up the contents of the full (network) zip file in Linux. This happens when you run the included 'setup' script as described below. " I couldn't find a nonet version in the folder.

In Linux you'll find the ifl.iso and iflnet.iso after running ./setup

The ifl.iso is the no-net version.
