I have been using IFL (version 2X) for several years on computers running Windows Vista and Windows 7. A year ago I posted a message indicating that I was about to buy a new Dell XPS Laptop and wanted some advice about using IFL on the new system running Windows 10 with a 1 TB SSD Drive. Brian K., as usual, was very helpful and knowledgeable, but as it turned out, I decided to wait til a later date for a purchase upgrade.
The upgrade finally happened last week. I decided the XPS was more computer than I needed so I opted for a 17" Dell Inspiron series 7000 model 7773 running Windows 10 Pro and a SATA III 512 SSD hard drive. I just purchased the TeraByte Bundle that Includes Version 3 of IFL. Just made a boot disk of IFL 3.22.
The question is essentially the same as last year -- Can I create images using IFL 3.22 on this new computer as I have done for years on my older computers, or is there something I need to know about this newer technology before I proceed. I have never used any of the other TeraByte programs and tools, which seem to become more numerous each time I get on the site. I'm totally familiar with IFL but if anyone starts mentioning the other Terabyte programs and tools please understand that I'm unfamiliar with them, even though I've always had many of them, and respond accordingly.
Thanks,
Jack Greenberg
