IFD requires product key at run time

Post by IHipschman »

I just updated the Image for Windows Suite from V3.12 to 3.15. I then created a new IFD Recovery Boot Disk, but when I tested it, it required my product key. It has not done this in previous versions. Is this something new or have I done something wrong?

you may have typed in the wrong name or key when creating it.

I will copy the key into the folder where IFD/IFL is located.
That way I do not need to look for it at the last moment.

Did you use makedisk.exe to create the IFD boot disk? OR??

That was it. My stupidity. I had entered the Order Number instead of the key since that was what I had to enter to download the new version. Just a thought: It might be good have MakeDisk give a warning when the user enters the wrong name/key.

Thanks,
Ivan
