I use IFL nonet boot from a USB stick for all my image backups of a Win10 system. Hibernations and Faststartup are disabled in Windows Powershell, powercfg /h off, and it shows so with powercfg /a . However, when restarting Windows, TBNotify warns me that Faststartup is enabled, yet it is not.
Running IFL/IFW/IFD 3.05. Is this apparently false notification fixed in later patch releases?

Okay, thanks. Got it now. I wonder if the regular users are having any
problems with this or just us "power users"? Is there a cohort of
Linux/Windows dual booters who have corrupted data partitions?
Personally, I have not come across anything in any if the distro
forums I frequent.

Re: Bogus? FastStartup Enabled Notification Terabyte IFW 3.0
Sorry, as the original OP, late coming back to this. So reading the referenced link, is it possible fast startup is enabled in Win10 even if hibernation is disabled with powercfg /h off ? And that I should temporarily re-enable hibernation, then turn off faststartup , and again turn off hibernation. With IFL, have successfully restored images w/o any apparent corruption from earlier IFL backups.
OK, I think I get it now. After powercfg /h on and checking Power and Sleep settings, faststartup was still on. then ticked it off, and did a powercfg /h off.
The powercfg /h only effects the option to turn on or off hibernation (and faststartup) in Power and Sleep settings. Apparently, on this one system, I did still have Faststartup enabled. My bad. Will check my other systems.
Thanks.

Note that FastStartup being on doesn't have anything to do with the integrity of backups. It has to do with the integrity of partitions exposed to multiple operating systems in a multi-boot situation.
At least that's the way I understand it.

I cannot get to the bios if Fast Start is turned on. A Restart bypasses
that on a temporary basis and might work.
