I installed BIBM with more than 4 partitions and Windows is booting okay.
I should have disconnect BOTH USB hard drives first though.
A 2 GB Seagate drive wit over 1 GB of stuff on it is now a blank disk.
I have not done anything with it right now.
What can I do to possibly recover at least part of what was on it. It
also contained many Image files. Some of those ARE elsewhere as well.
Thanks
Mary Nelson

Mary,
Do you have the partition in the MBR section of the Boot Item?

Check the Boot Item first.

Win 7 is the only bootable item as it should be. I kept it simple until
things were working well.
It was just an external USB hard drive. There are 2 and only one got
wiped. It did not even appear in BIBM now. Disk mgmt showed nothing on it.

Try 'undelete partition' in BIBM.

Mary, you have to Insert the partition into the MBR. Click the Fill button. Then you will see the partition in Windows and Disk Management.
It's because the disk is EMBR.

I looked for something like that on the menu. I did not see anything.
The whole drive is empty now and I did not see the drive in BIBM.

Re: BIBM installation destroyed info on one USB hard drive
I did not need to do anything to the 2nd USB drive to access all its
fails. It should not be necessary, should it?

Re: BIBM installation destroyed info on one USB hard drive
Shouldn't BIBM see the drive w/o putting it in??????
I haven't used embr for a LONG time now when I used BING.
