IFD 2.99 hangs on automatic shutdown
IFD 2.99 hangs on automatic shutdown
If I use the "Shutdown When Completed" option, then Image for DOS 2.99 hangs on the automatic shutdown. At the top of the screen I see some graphical artifacts and the system doesn't respond to mouse and keyboard. Therefore I need to force shutdown by using the power switch, which is something I don't like to do. The "Reboot When Completed" option works fine though. Any ideas how to fix this? Maybe some BIOS setting? My computer has a MSI P55-GD65 mainboard.

Re: IFD 2.99 hangs on automatic shutdown
it uses APM so ensure that is enabled.

Re: IFD 2.99 hangs on automatic shutdown
Thanks. There is no APM option in the BIOS setup, but there is an ACPI option and that was already enabled.

Re: IFD 2.99 hangs on automatic shutdown
acpi isn't supported due to the large amount of code it would take to do a
simple shutdown.
