I found sometimes that the Windows 10 installation media will boot in UEFI mode although the Bios is set to CSM mode and Secure Boot to disabled.
If the installation media is a UFD, the trick to do is to rename the efi folder on the installation media to eg. efi_old and the installation media will boot in CSM/Legacy mode for MBR installation.

Try this:
When powering on, press the appropriate function key to select the drive to boot from. F11 in my case for an Asrock MB. On my machine, for both USB and CD drives, it gives a UEFI and Legacy boot option for each drive. Select the non UEFI boot item to do your install.

Hopefully this will help you get further along.

On my laptop, I use F12 to change boot device.

An IFL boot SD card will show up differently on the choices.
I forget exactly what it was called. It was not the typical USB info.

I had to use the special link for IFL to run.

good tip for getting UFD's and BIOS to do what you want.

another good one, when it says F11 for boot menu and F11 doesn't work, check
the keyboard to see if it's one of those with a "function lock" on it where
you have to enable that for function keys to work.
