SATA sockets

Postby DrTeeth » Tue Aug 07, 2012 4:42 am

Hi,

My motherboard has the Intel P55 chipset. I currently have my three hard discs plugged into sockets SATA1,2 & 3.
Is there anything to be gained performance-wise to using SATA 1,3 & 5 instead? I am asking as I am installing two higher capacity discs in a day or so so thought it would be a handy time to find out.

Thanks

It shouldn't make any difference.
