hello all,
ran across an excellent site discussing the new firmware UEFI in language even i can understand. following is the link.
happyassassin dot net
it sheds some light on the many misconceptions people have about it.

it looks as though that this is going to be the way of the future and it makes me wonder why TERABYTE is so mum about it.
my guess would be that they just do not want to get involved with it for reasons, again, i could only guess at.
it would be nice if we now had a boot manager that could handle both boot loaders in one graphical interface.

anyway, my two cents worth
cheers
bernard

Bernard,
Not sure all manufacturers are using the same things regarding UEFI.
Could that delay what you are looking for?

Yes you've got that right. uefi's are not the same across different makers.
Actually i,m not looking for anything. I thought I'd share this web site with everyone.
