Win 10 manual update

I saw that there was a new major update and decided to do it on my
terms, not MS.

I first created a DVD with the Win 10 Single Language I needed.

I tried to do an update within Windows. Not possible. It was unable to
create the probably 450 MB file needed. There was no free space present.

Booted from the DVD using F9 on startup (HP AIO). Decided to delete all
the little partitions as well as the current Win 10. I do have images if
a restore was needed. IFL works from SD cards and probably others.

All the 4 partitions remained the same size and were used by Windows. I
was not sure that deleting would have messed with that and it had not
done so.

Got a good install and it did not take all that long.

Lots of work getting all the applications installed and glad I decided
to go that way.

OO software has a small program that lets you easily check Windows
security settings and change them if desired. There sure are LOTS of them.

I have seen others saying that 2 ea 450 GB partitions were present after
a major update. Maybe this is a way to prevent that?
