Hi,
I was able to figure out how to get the installer going when I booted to the USB, but I got stuck because when you get to the partitioning page, it is showing the entire physical disk and not just the partition that I have in boot menu

!!
I looked at your article, and that procedure seems a little "scary", especially wiping out the MBR, etc., so I have to think about it more

...
