I was trying to listen to an online program in FF. There should have
been sound and there was none.
I switched to IE for the same program and WOW - sound.
Nothing else was changed.
Not sure even where to look for problems. There is a FF update I will be
getting after I send this, then I will try again.

Re: Sound in IE, No sound in Firefox
FF had already been updated. I uninstalled, rebooted,
and am now reinstalling.
Wish me luck.

Re: Sound in IE, No sound in Firefox
Reinstall, no work. I did find out it was site-specific as I got sound
on other sites. FF had an error message and was blocking so I clicked on
stopping the block.
Ran C Cleaner. I now have sound for that site.

Re: Sound in IE, No sound in Firefox
Hello
I've just experienced this problem but fortunately managed to resolve it easily. I had guitar pro running which was playing sound normaly and ie wasn't when running simultaneously.I closed down gp and ie worked as normal.I haven't experienced this before with these two programs but I would suggest prodissertation if your having this problem try closing all unecessary programs and restart ie.
best regards
