Hi all.
Trying to get OSD Tool Suite for linux to work in Ubuntu 11.10. I have searched the web and PDF files but I can’t find a lot of information.
Can someone tell me how I can get tbosdt for linux working in Ubuntu.
Thanks in advance.

After you unzip it, right-click the file tbosdt in the 'linux' directory, choose Properties, go to Permissions tab and check "Allow executing file as a program". That will make the file executable. Then to run it you can type: sudo ./tbosdt (in a terminal from the 'linux' directory)

If you want, you could also run it as a normal user (i.e. without using sudo) if you add the user to the disk group. To do that:
1. run 'sudo nano /etc/group'
2. edit the 'disk' line to read: disk:x:6:username (where username is your user name)
3. save the file, log out, then log back in for the change to take effect

Hello That work is awesome. This disastrous scenario can be RESOLVED by converting the corrupt OST file to a readable PST file that RESTORES ACCESS to EMAIL, CONTACT and APPOINTMENT data.
