validation failure

Installed Samsung 840 SSD in new i7 PC laptop delivered with Seagate hard drive.
Byte by byte validation failure occurred with SSD with TRIM disabled and not disabled.
No validation failure for images made with Seagate before installing SSD.
Reinstalled Seagate. Image validation not fail.
Any idea what might cause the validation failure with SSD but not Seagate HD?

This still applies as memory errors can be dependent on location of data.:

So after memory test, run chkdsk /f, also, you'd want to upgrade your
firmware on the SSD. And ensure you're using the latest version of
IFW/PHYlock if TRIM is enabled.

If you have RAID, run a consistency check.
