BUG: 2.78 - Backup to CD/DVD/BD

Post by TeraByte Support »

If you attempt to use 2.78 to backup to CD/DVD/BD and it needs multiple
discs it will cancel after you insert the second disc with an error about
not enough free space. This was caused by a change in 2.78 to prepare for
the 2.79 version and will be (is) fixed in the 2.79 version. This occurs if
you have boot files installed to be put on the disc. If you don't need the
disc to be bootable (which is the case if you already have a separate
bootable disc), you can either rename the cdboot.ifd, cdboot.ifl or
cdboot.ins file to something else or better to simply edit the ifw.ini (or
ifl.ini or ifd.ini) file in the program folder and add:

CDBINS=4

under the [OPTIONS] section. If the ifw.ini file doesn't already have an
[OPTIONS] section, you can add it like this:

[OPTIONS]
CDBINS=4

2.79 should be out in one to two weeks from today.

Is there something similar that could/should be done for IFD run from BIBM?
