I am about fed up with other backup solutions but before I try this one out I would like to know something.
Will the recovery disk for made under Windows 8 boot and work on the same machine which has an EUFI BIOS?

GPT partition drive on EFI system is fine, it just needs to be able to boot
a normal UFD (USB Flash Drive) if you want to use those, otherwise you'll
need to use a bootable CD/DVD.
