IfW Copy ends with peculiar final window

Post by SuffolkPunch »

Hello,

I'm using Image for Windows 2.73 running under Windows 7 (64 bit).

The attached jpg shows rather odd numbers for a whole disk copy that otherwise seems to have completed ok.
(The Time Elapsed and MiB Transferred look about right, but the MiB and Time Remaining are clearly wrong.)

I was copying a flaky Western Digital 500GB drive to a new Western Digital 500GB drive.

Does anyone know what's happened?

Martin

You probably have a FAT32 partition in the mix you were copying and it's
free/used space count in the reserved areas is wrong .. scandisk or chkdsk
/f would fix it (the copy is still good, it adds/calculates the actual areas
for the operation).

Thanks. I'll run chkdsk and see if it finds any problems.
