W8 corruption revisited

There must be two causes of corruption then. The source that I
mentioned was 110% reproducible - it is worrying that the computer
press have stayed quiet on this issue even when they have been alerted
to it. OTOH, not many people, according to TBU, have this issue that
is beleaguering you. I know how you feel, I have a very strange issue
with my win 7 setup that I have not been able to fix - it is minor so
I've skirted around it - just don't like computers to win.

Thanks. Yes, we skirt these niggling issues. My concern here is more over the nasty consequences that could be awaiting less versed folks. Then again, perhaps my experience is machine-specific...
