No "Disable TRIM" option

Post by a1pcfixer »

What might be the cause of my not seeing the option check box "Disable
TRIM" under IFW's Backuop Options page?

I have a desktop I recently built running Win 7-64 bit Pro, a 256GB SSD
boot drive, plus a regular HDD (drives/partions D:\ + E:\).

My laptop is similar running the same but a smaller secondary HDD.
The laptop IFW 2.75 does see the "Disable TRIM" checkbox.

The desktop does not see it.

I'm sure I seen it when I first setup the new desktop PC and first
installed IFW 2.74, but it soon disappeared. Re-installing IFW 2.74
didn't bring it back, nor has IFW 2.75

IFW program 'bug'.....or what?

OK, got it corrected....
fsutil behavior set disabledeletenotify 0

But since I didn't change it, makes one wonder how it got changed.
