GUI / CUI?

Post by rado »

Could someone tell me what's the difference between the GUI and the CUI versions? Does it simply mean "Graphical User Interface" and "Command line User Interface" or what?

In my case, some mouse problems happened with the GUI
version where that does not happen with the CUI.

On my new computer I can use the trackpad and must unplug my
wireless mouse.

CUI = Character User Interface (the black/blue screen shots)
GUI = Graphical User Interface (the graphical screen shots)

OK. So the CUI for Image for DOS is a new thing? Never seen anything but the black/blue interface before.

No, the GUI version is newer than the CUI version.
