Hash feature amomaly

Post by DrTeeth »

I have just run a full backup with the 'speed up differential' set as
a default value. The hash file was not created with the full backup.
Is this one of the known issues to be fixed in the next release?

A hint as to the ETA of 2.72 would be helpful ;-).

Also got this problem earlier. I just hope the next release will be soon.

Me too. It is a very useful feature and it is a shame it does not yet
work reliably.

if there is any problem creating it, it will just delete it. check the .log
file.

2.72, probably a week or two. there is a lot of core changes in that one,
could have held it all off for a version 3, but just making it a minor
update.

Another bug I'm afraid. Could you tell if this is flagged for a fix in
the next release too please?

The hash file caused a differential backup to freeze in the same place
each time. deleting the hash file allowed for a normal backup.
