What's the current thinking on updating IFW, as far as whether to
install over the top of current version or not?
I am currently using V2.52

I have just updated for each change with no problems.
You will need to also update Phylock for the latest, though.

Do a full install every time over the top. Some components I never use
but the footprint is so small, not worth the hassle of customising.
Been doing this for the years I have been using IfW, unless TBU
advises otherwise.

Not sure what to think about this:
I downloaded and ran the CUI version of IFW/IFD, and the screen header
(when program started) said V2.61, not V2.7
any ideas?

I should have added that the version showing up with IFD Restore header
was V2.70

sorry folks, I have the problem remedied. I had the older version of
the IFW exe file in my folder from which I run my batch program.
