Where are IFL settings stored?

When running IFL from a USB boot, the settings that are saved as default don't get saved to the USB media.
The last time I used IFL, I had a network share mounted, so I thought I'd copy the ifl.ini file off and use as a guide the next time I ran Makedisk.
However, I cannot find that file anywhere. I used Midnight Commander and ran a case-insensitive recursive search from / for the string ifl* and nothing was found.
