Restore image to different cluster size

Post by p0k3m0n »

Hi,

Is it possible to restore image to different cluster size? Some kind of conversion during restore from 512 to 4096. If yes, how?

Not directly if they are actually different sizes exposed (most new drives are 4096 but still expose them as 512 bytes), it will tell you when you try to restore if it is different. If you actually have exposed different size, you can use the COPYWIN.TBS script to restore it.

I want do it only with one partition.

1) message "imagew.exe not found on standard location" - it is correct, I have software in c:\TeraByte
2) it is 64bit system, so it shouldnt be imagew64.exe (?)

Yes, standard location is C:\Program Files\TeraByte Drive Image Backup and Restore Suite\
or C:\Program Files (x86)\TeraByte Drive Image Backup and Restore Suite\

It may not. Are you running the script under Windows 10 x64?
