Microsoft Storage Space

Post by vacrcwillvic »

Can Image for DOS/Linux/Windows image a Microsoft Storage Spaces drive as one drive or does each drive attached to the system have to be imaged separately? If it can be imaged at one drive, is there some type of documentation showing best practice for this type of image?

Is TeraByte not interested in answering this kind of question?
Storage Space is very common as Windows 10 supports it.

It's not designed specifically for storage spaces, but the way they implemented it, it just looks like another hard drive to backup (ensure you backup the actual storage drive and not the physical drives). If you want to restore in that space, you'd have to create it first, otherwise it would be a normal drive/partitions.

Of course ensure you test the disaster recovery to new drives so you can ensure you have the process down.
