These questions weren't asked to me, but:

While Terabyte support often weighs in here, I've seen it said that email to support@terabyteunlimited.com often results in quicker, more helpful assistance.

I can't remember whether I've actually backed up to USB flash drives or not. These days, I back up to an external USB hard disk, but I periodically copy the backup file from there to a USB flash drive to have the backup physically separate from the PC just as an extra layer of safety.

After doing backup, capture the ifl.log before rebooting and post it.

open terminal:

dpmount
cp ifl.log mnt1
umount mnt1


> I did choose validate too... I ran 3 back ups and they all turned out the same..
