Intel RST install slowed down backups

I just wanted to report that after installing the Intel RST software on
a Win10 Pro machine the incrementals backup slow down from about 8 to 12
minutes to 22 minutes or so (several days). Needed the software to run
a verify and fix, it may have changed the driver. Just something to be
aware of. The RAID was level 1 (Mirroring) SSD drives. I've since
migrated the system over to a new one, back to 6-7 minute incrementals.
