TBIView Changes Option hangs

Post by tas3086 »

When using the changes tbiview option on a incremental tbi file of 10 increments, seems to hang after finding about 60 changes. no additional files are found, but the moving green bar keeps sweeping forever, and I know that there are more changes.

Is there a resource limit somewhere that I can change to allow it to continue? How can I determine why it is not progressing. Any Suggestions?

Keep an eye on disk activity. It may have hit an area that is slow to
process or a bunch of files being checked that haven't changed. Don't
forget it has to decompress and scan through everything and in some
cases decompress multiple times to find its place.

Is it possible to determine what files were backed up in each increment run, either through image.exe (log) at backup time, or tbiview at a later time?

That's what tbiview option does, not really files backed up, but files that changed, what was backed up is only changes within some files. It's not file based.
