Hi,
I've installed IfL v3.22 on a usb stick, and it boots ok in a linux mint PC, but not a Windows 10 laptop.
The laptop is running insyde UEFI BIOS version 1.07.07. The BIOS config pages says that Secure Boot is disabled, and they see both the SSD the laptop usually boots from and the USB stick.
I select boot from the IfL 3.22 stick, the first 2 lines appear, but then the screen blanks and nothing happens.
When using makedisk to create the IfL boot USB stick, I've tried two USB layouts: MBR FAT/FAT 32 partition, and GPT UEFI System Partition. In both cases booting from the stick fails.
Am I doing something dumb? Any help would be much appreciated!

Re: Can't boot Windows 10 from IFL stick
Update: Solved my immediate problem by using a bootable USB stick with TBWinRE on it. That boots on the win10 laptop and backs-up/restores ok. The laptop's UEFI BIOS sees it as an EFI USB drive.

x64 is 64-bit IFL. It's in your IFL download list. Also...

Thanks, Brian.
Can the 'acpi=off' option be added to the boot usb drive when makedisk is used to create the IfL boot drive? Would that work for both legacy and UEFI BIOSs?

Did 'acpi=off' work?
Sorry, I've never had to use this.
Edit... It looks like you can edit grub.cfg on the flash drive.
