IFD recovery disk product key
IFD recovery disk product key
Restorations using IFD, made with IFW 3.32, now prompt each time for a product #. That wasn't the case earlier. Any way to get it to remember?

Re: IFD recovery disk product key
What type of boot media are you creating (CUI/GUI, Simple/Traditional, CD/UFD)? Or is it on a disc burned directly from IFW?
If MakeDisk was used, are you sure the name and key were entered correctly?

The GUI program is installed here.
MakeDisk (invoked from the Win 10 programs menu) was used to create two Traditional CDs.
As they both exhibit the same behavior, it's unlikely that the name and key were incorrectly entered. If they were, the burn would likely be refused.

I'm confused. How does Makedisk get into the Win 10 programs menu?

The shortcut menu item to create the boot media (created when IFW is installed).

Ah, yes, I see. I always did it as part of the installation or the suite or from a separate download of IFD. Never noticed that.

So it seems there's no insight into why this has changed? Workable, yet annoying.
