UEFI PXE boot??

Post by robmorin »

Hello all, we recently bought a bunch of new Dell laptops, latitude 3500s, they do not boot in legacy mode, only UEFI. how do i create a UEFI PXE boot?

Can someone point me to a document somewhere as I cannot seem to find one.
Thanks and have a great day.

Hello,

We should update the pxe to include UEFI option, but you can do same see
http://syslinux.zytor.com/pxe.php (UEFI Section) which is linked in
https://www.terabyteunlimited.com/kb/article.php?id=597.

Also many use iPXE - check that out too.

So this UEFI thing, seems a bit more complicated than i thought to add to existing pxe setup i have, can anyone give me more details or point to a docs that specifically says how to setup UEFI PXE.

Sorry for being a pain...

Thanks..
