New ssd extended partition not seen by Win 10 in explorer or

Post by bokcam »

In IFL made TBI image of old hd. In IFL restored TBI image to new ssd. The ssd boots to windows. . The old hd had 4 partitions: Recover, OS, Extended, and EMBR. The old hd had a hard disc error which checkdisk with repair could not fix. When IFL created the TBI backup it warned of a hard disc error which it allowed me to ignore. After IFL finished the TBI backup it stated that there were 8 bad sectors and 0 byte-for-byte errors.

IFL and Bootitbm see the extended partition and give properties. Win 10 sees it as unallocated space.

Most likely, the extended partition is not loaded into the MBR. If you have boot items make sure you configured them to load the partitions you want visible. If BIBM isn't installed you can still use Partition Work and View MBR to load the extended partition into the partition table.
