I emailed tech support with the info they requested.
For the benefit of anyone reading this thread, the system is an Intel NUC8i5BEH with the latest BIOS firmware (BECFL357.86A.0051.2018.0015.1513) I could find as of this date. The SATA mode is AHCI.
